DESCRIPTION:In OPEN EMBROIDERY & SOFTWARE STUDIO students will learn how to master embroidery with tips and tricks that make it fun. Bring a project that you want help with or enjoy one of our new designs. This class is a lecture/demo so you do not need to bring your machines. Learn about different stabilizers\, hoops (including the new Large and Medium Magnetic Embroidery Hoops\,) threads and placement tips. Students may also bring in their embroidery software questions to get help solving installations or issues. Come if you want to learn what machine embroidery and embroidery software are all about!\nThe class size is limited\, please register by 5:00pm Tuesday before class. DESCRIPTION:Josephine Quilt by Penelope Handmade. “A fun quilt for beginners and any quilter who loves a twist on the Log Cabin quilt. Pick nine fat quarters and two accent fabrics and you will be on your way to creating a cozy sized quilt.” In class students will learn about the tools – using a rotary cutter and rulers; the terms – fat quarter\, nesting seams\, piecing blocks\, making flying geese  and the sewing – 1⁄4 inch seams and will discuss straight line machine quilting. Class preparation will be emailed at registration. Class skips Thursday\, 11/26\, Thanksgiving.\nPlease purchase patterns and supplies before class.
