Shibori, the traditional Japanese tie-dye technique, will be explored in detail, perfect for anyone interested in getting their hands in the dye pot and creating their own fabric. We will cover multiple techniques including folding and binding, stitch resist and shape resist shibori, exploring the endless possibilities that can be achieved with just a little experimentation. Modern dyes and equipment will be available for your use in this class, allowing you the freedom to play with color and technique. Materials fee $15 included in class fee.
