NEEDLE FELTING BASICS (LEVEL 1): HUMMINGBIRD FULL

Join us for this fun half day workshop to explore the craft of needle felting with fiber artist Libby Mortensen. Learn and practice basic wool sculpting techniques, including wrapping and shaping, blending colors, and surface felting. Learn about basic tools, felting surfaces, gauges of needles and their best uses, and types of wool best suited for needle felting. Students will be making a hummingbird. Suitable for adults and older teens with some crafting experience. MATERIALS FEE: $20 supply pack will include all required supplies needed for the project, including wool, felting needles and felting pad. There will be another Hummingbird Felting class offered on SATURDAY, 2/22, 1-5PM.
