MARINER’S COMPASS STAR

Come explore this explosion of color and texture, creating your own work of art.
If you are using Kaffe Fassett fabrics the possibilities are limitless! Instructor will guide you in selective use of pattern and color in each print to showcase the potential in each block. Students will be working from the Mariner’s Compass Star by Carol Doak book, which has been special ordered for this class (Print On Demand Edition) since it is out of print and supply will be limited.
Class will start with short discussion on choosing fabrics for two blocks, labeling and laying them out in order of use, and piecing them together. So all students are working on the same blocks in class, please print out Austria and Italy. If time permits we will continue to choose fabrics for other blocks of your choice.
This class is for advanced beginners and above, with experience in paper piecing.
