HAND APPLIQUE: EARLY BIRDS 1/3 SESSIONS
The applique class will cover multiple techniques of applique: needleturn, freezer paper, basting, and starch method. We will concentrate on creating interesting color combinations using whimsical fabric choices or working with the fabrics of your choice. Also to add more interest to the piece we can add interesting top stitching to the appliques themselves. Please purchase pattern “Backyard Birds” by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins (12 applique quilt blocks) and supplies before class. Finished Size: 39”x 39”
This class will meet for 3 Saturday sessions, 1/31, 2/28 and 3/28, 1:00-5:00pm.
