DESCRIPTION:Learn basic fabric collage techniques using a new SUNFLOWER pattern by Libby Mortensen. Explore design elements\, including using color\, value\, and print size to create your own sunflower to use in a wall hanging or pillow that you can finish at home. Supply list will be sent with class confirmation. \nOR \nLearn how to make a fusible fabric collage quilt or wall hanging using one of Laura Heine’s popular collage patterns. Choose your design and get started on this fun and easy technique – no sewing necessary until time to quilt. Techniques taught include – how to transfer a design onto foundation fabric\, fuse webbing\, fussy cut motifs and create a colorful design using a simple\, black line drawing. In addition\, color choices and placement of fabrics to create depth and movement in your quilt will be discussed. This is a design class and does not require a sewing machine for the class. Quilting suggestions will be discussed for finishing at home. Supplies needed will depend on choice of pattern. Please purchase pattern before class.
