DESIGN YOUR OWN “ONE BLOCK WONDER” QUILT WITH HEXAGONS

In this class students will learn how to choose, cut, and arrange fabrics to make a spectacular “One Block Wonder” quilt. Fabric selection is the first concept to be covered. We’ll shop to find colors and designs that are perfect for this type of quilt (Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics are wonderful for this!) Next step will be to line up and cut fabrics to make the block. Lastly, we will use a design wall to audition blocks and their placement into a quilt. You will leave the class with several blocks pinned and ready to sew. Since this is a design class, no sewing machine required. Please advise if you would like a follow-up class scheduled.
