DESCRIPTION:BERNINA Q24/Q20 Longarm Machine Rental Program!\nCome learn how to quilt your own quilts on the BERNINA Q24 Longarm machine\, with 24″ throat plate and stitch speed of 2200 stitches per minute or the BERNINA Q20 Longarm machine\, with 20″ throat plate and stitch speed of 2200 stitches per minute! We offer a training class on the BERNINA Q24 Longarm machine and the BERNINA Q20 Longarm machine for those who want to rent the machine. The required BERNINA Q24/Q20 Longarm Machine Basics class includes a 1 1/2 hour training class where you will learn the necessary information to operate the machine\, and 2 practice sessions of 1 hour each to qualify you as a certified renter. The hourly rental rate will be $20/hour and does not include supplies (thread or batting.) Use of the Q-matic\, BERNINA’S automated quilting program\, while renting the BERNINA Q 24 Longarm machine adds $5.00/hour to the rental of $20.00/hour. \nIn this introductory class\, students (age 18 or older) will learn how to operate the BERNINA Q24/Q20 Longarm machines in order to work independently. The class will cover the basics of operation and there will be 2 independent practice sessions to complete your training. Students will learn how to load the frame\, thread the machine\, and navigate the unique\, user-friendly interface. Students will spend time working with the different stitch modes and explore free motion quilting techniques. Learn how easy it is to use the BERNINA Q 24/Q20 Longarm machines to complete your unfinished quilt tops professionally! The completion of all components of the Basics class is required before renting the BERNINA Q24/Q20 Longarm machines.\nPractice sessions must be completed within 30 days of the training class.\nThere is a separate class for training on Q-matic\, BERNINA’S automated quilting program\, Q-MATIC BASICS\, scheduled individually. \n \nBERNINA Q24/Q20 Longarm Basics class fee is $120 which includes the 1 1/2 hour training class and 2 practice sessions. Fee is credited toward purchase of a BERNINA Q24 or Q20 machine. Materials are included for training class. Supply list for practice sessions will be provided. Training class: Friday\, 2/20\, 10:30-12pm. Practice Sessions: 1 hour increments scheduled individually.
