DESCRIPTION:Beginning Quilting – Students will be using the Dorothy Quilt pattern by Penelope Handmade. This quilt is beginner friendly but is fast and fun\nfor any level quilter. It is a pattern that is very versatile for any fabric choices. It can be made with fat quarters\, a jelly roll or your stash. In class\nstudents will learn about the tools – using a rotary cutter and rulers; the terms – fat quarter\, nesting seams\, piecing blocks; and the sewing – 1⁄4 inch\nseams and straight line machine quilting. Please purchase patterns and supplies before class. Stop in anytime and we will help you find everything\nyou need for class. Skips Thursday\, 2/26\, session for school vacation week. \n \n \n
